Nike | Mens Air Jordan 4 Retro (Black)

The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Black Cat' (FV5029-010) is the third release of the first all-black colourway of the Air Jordan 4. Released on 28 November 2025, it is the first Black Cat to carry Nike Air branding on the heel.

Overview

The Black Cat name references one of Michael Jordan's nicknames. The colourway first released in 2006 as the first all-black Air Jordan 4 and returned in 2020, and this 2025 edition brings it closer to the 1989 original's detailing.

The upper is black nubuck with black netting on the midfoot panels and tongue, finished with graphite matte accents and a grey tongue tag. The moulded eyestays keep their signature shape, and a glossy blacked-out Nike Air logo replaces the Jumpman on the heel tab. A black midsole with visible Air sits on a matching rubber outsole.

The Air Jordan 4 Black Cat is the easiest AJ4 to wear. The monochrome build works with black denim, cargos or tailoring, and the Nike Air heel is the detail collectors look for.
